Cheshire Wedding Venues.
I live in Congleton, Cheshire, which is literally 10 minutes away from the M6 so I can easily zip up and down the motorway to photograph weddings in Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester, North Wales, Derbyshire, Lancashire & Shropshire (and everywhere inbetween!). I don’t usually travel further than a couple of hours away, mainly because of the contingency time that I have to leave for traffic jams etc, and I am privileged to live in an area with some of the UK’s finest wedding venues, right on my doorstep. Sandhole Oak Barn is less than 10 minutes away from me, and is a beautiful lakeside barn with stunning views over the Cheshire countryside. The light inside the building is just beautiful and the grounds are incredible too. Capesthorne Hall in Macclesfield is such a grand venue and Heaton House Farm in Rushton Spencer is truly unique too. I have photographed weddings at such unusual venues this year as Chester Zoo and on a narrowboat along Macclesfield canal, and this weekend I will be at the beautiful Ashfield House in Wigan on Friday and then the fantastic Adlington Hall on Saturday. Variety really is the spice of life and it is always wonderful to see how couples are taking some of the original wedding traditions and mixing them up with their own unique twist on their very special day. I have photographed weddings at hundreds of different venues now, from small country pubs to ancient Castles and I can honestly say that I absolutely love the contrast and excitement of being a wedding photographer, when literally no two days are ever the same.
